Organiser getting started

To get started with TimbaTicket, sign up, create your organisation, then use the Create Event wizard to build your first event — event details, venue and date, media, ticket types, and a review step — before you publish it.

1. Sign up and set up your organisation

You sign in through the TimbaTicket app and create or join an organisation. Your role inside that organisation (Owner, Manager or Team) decides what you can do — see Roles & permissions.

2. Create your event

In the dashboard, open the create-event flow. The wizard walks through five steps:

  1. Event Details — name, summary and full description.
  2. Venue & Date — where and when it happens.
  3. Media — cover image (and optional video).
  4. Tickets — your ticket types and prices.
  5. Review — check everything before saving.

Two defaults are pre-set so your event is safe to publish: a capacity of 100 and the no-refund policy switched on for tickets. No dates, names or prices are pre-filled — the form deliberately starts empty so you never publish placeholder data by accident.

3. Set ticket types and prices

Add one or more ticket types (for example General Admission, Early Bird, VIP). Each ticket type has a price. Prices on the buyer's side depend on your fee policy: the platform fee is either absorbed into your proceeds (buyer pays the ticket price exactly) or passed through to the buyer.

4. Publish the event

When your draft is ready, publish it. The event page shows your branding, your colours, your ticket types and a checkout button. The event goes through a short pending approval step handled by the TimbaTicket team before it's publicly listed.

5. Sell and run the event

Once published, buyers reach your event page by link. You manage orders, attendees, check-in, guest lists and analytics from the event's tabs in the dashboard.

Continue with Event lifecycle to understand draft, published and pending-approval states, then Ticketing & pricing for ticket types and fees.
